In franchise practice, we act as legal advisor for franchisor and franchisees in their relations with the counter parties including but not limited to preparing the agreements and providing legal advice in termination of the agreements. A legal analysis for agency, distribution and similar commercial contracts is crucial especially if such contracts are exclusive contracts. Specific to franchise agreements we provide legal services in drafting and revising the agreements, in advising clients on registering, commercializing and protecting their IP rights, in advising clients on merchandising, advertising, promotion and packaging issues and in advising the clients on termination related issues such as transfer of business, payment of portfolio compensation and transfer of IP assets.
